Qualification Description

The CHC53415 Diploma of Leisure and Health is a nationally recognised qualification including training and assessment is through RTO code 22040.

KM Training & Consulting is not the training provider. Their role is to provide marketing and referral services to the RTO.

This qualification reflects the role of workers with responsibility for designing, implementing and evaluating health and leisure activities, and programs for clients in one or more sector areas. Work may be in residential facilities and/or in community agencies and day centres. Workers work under supervision or as sole practitioners and may be required to plan, coordinate and evaluate other workers and work teams within broad but generally well-defined guidelines.

Type of Study: Face to Face Delivery This course is delivered face to face in a classroom environment with a combination of interactive workshops in the classroom with opportunities to participate in practical application of skills and knowledge through, practical industry based simulated training activities and workplace participation.

Estimated duration of this qualification is 12 months

240 hours work placement in a suitable workplace e.g. aged care, home and community or community service organisation.

Entry Requirements:

To ensure an appropriate learning opportunity, prospective students need to demonstrate a capacity to undertake study at Certificate IV level, this can be demonstrated via the following and be conducted by RTO Code 22040

Pre-training review to ensure student has the appropriate level of Language Literacy and Numeracy to achieve the competencies.

Basic computer skills.
